Guest ordering information
Information about ordering through Zackisch. These notices do not replace the restaurant’s disclosures or your statutory rights.
Your contracting party
The restaurant identified in the menu and checkout sells the food and drinks. Zackisch supplies the technical ordering interface. The merchant agreement between Zackisch and restaurants is not your restaurant contract. Any restaurant-specific terms must be made available by that restaurant before you order.
Ordering and payment
Check items, options, quantity, table or pickup and the total before submitting a binding payment. Tips are optional. Available payment methods appear in the payment form. A loading screen or redirect is not evidence of successful payment; rely on the verified order confirmation. If status is unclear, check the existing order or contact the restaurant before paying again.
Questions, defects and refunds
Contact the restaurant about preparation, fulfilment, missing items, defects and refund claims. These notices do not limit statutory rights. Zackisch support can help with technical problems. A paid status does not determine whether you are entitled to a refund.
Withdrawal and cancellation
Whether a statutory right of withdrawal applies depends on the particular contract. Statutory exceptions may apply to certain perishable goods or catering services for a specific date; these notices do not exclude withdrawal for all restaurant orders. The restaurant must provide any information required for the particular order. Voluntary cancellation arrangements are separate.
Confirmation and restaurant receipt
The Zackisch order and payment confirmation documents the order and is not a fiscal receipt. The restaurant supplies the legally required receipt or invoice. Providing an optional email address for the confirmation does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
